|
|
I did a few searches and found the answer to problem I'm having.
Here: | Quote: | Go to an unused rhythm and access the rhythm tab on it.
Click PASTE and select the 'Rock Basic II' rhythm and Ok
it. You now have a copy of that rhythm in your current
slot. Now alter the snare as needed. Finally, go to the
arranger and select the new rhythm for the bars of the
middle part.
Remember that rhythms and arrangement all save into your
host project so there is no need to save the rhythms
separately in the rhythm tab. That's only needed if you
want to save a rhythm for use in other songs. |
I tried something similar to this already in the second Rythm line (1), but when I play it back, Cubase (SX3) will only play the most recent rythm where I made changes.
It's like it's ignoring the original Rythm 0.
Any tips?

Hi!
Make sure you are in Manual mode.
Also make sure that the arrangement is laid out like you want it to be (i.e. not only JSĀ“ decisions but also your altered rhythm is actually selected for play in the arrangement).
Check the USE ARRANGEMENT box in the Arrangement tab.
That should do it. |

It was the the "use arrangement" not being selected.
