| Just to make sure that I am not missing something that is blatantly simple and obvious, is the only way to free jam with Jamstix is to have my host (Sonar 6.2) running? Meaning that I either have to be recording a track, or already have a track recorded (Sonar won't run without anything recorded in the project). Thanks! BTW, Ralph, ver.2 looks like it is going to be SUPER! |

Yes, the host must be running. Most hosts play empty projects but Sonar does not. So you either have to record or place a dummy event into a MIDI track at bar 500 or so. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That was one of the reasons I decided to go to Ableton live 6 instead of Sonar 6.Also Ralph, that new video of Jamstix 2 is great,I sat there open mouthed thinking back to when Jamstix was beta. The work that you and the Rayzoon team have put into this product is outstanding and inspiring. _________________ EMU 1820M user |
