| I am trying to create a song in 4/4 and using manual mode with patterns selected from the JS pattern list. However, I want JS to emphasize the second beat. How do I program JS to do this? |

In a 4/4 rock-based rhythm, the 2 beat is usually the snare. You can accentuate it more by doing any of the following:
- click the second quarter bar of the cymbal panel to add a crash to the snare
- add a kick note in the kick panel before the snare by checking the second box in the 3rd row
- add an open hihat around the 2 beat. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| You might also try changing the time signature in your host to 2/4. In this scenario, JS will only play the first two beats of the arrangement making it easy to accent the 2. You may need to alternate patterns every measure if you don't want an accent on the 4 as well. |
