I have made some good drum tracks by just picking two decent rhythms and then letting Jamstix play variations and fills over them (lazy man's dream) however, I am finding that I have a hard time getting "exactly" what I want out of the program in terms of rhythms and fills with, for instance, very specific desires for tom hits in specific places.

I know my options are:

-- To program them myself in the rhythm window (not a lazy man's dream)
-- make do with the closest patch within the program

I am also thinking of obtaining a large collection of midi drum loops online and converting them into JS, however, I really want them for fills and since there are only 16 rhythm slots this could be not the best solution.

What is everyone else doing (I know, I know, wait for JS 2...)
