Hi-
I'm only demoing Jamstix, so I probably have no right to say this, but I will anyway!
This is actually my second go-round with the demo, and again I find the GUI very hard on my eyes. It's a combination of the puffy fonts and the color scheme. The Jamstix look is very off-putting to me, so I'm wondering if there are plans to make it customizable in 2.0 (or is it already, and I just don't know how?).
Most every audio app I'm using now is by default toned-down colorwise (SONAR PE 6.2.1, FL Studio 7, along with just about every softsynth I use), then I look at Jamstix, and it really is jarring to me.
There, I've said it! No reflection on what it can do, only on how it looks to these not-so-great eyes.
Thanks-

You're not the first who has said this, so it's okay.
Jamstix 2 has a new GUI and does not use the 'puffy' fonts. Hopefully this will be a bit better for you. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Excellent, Ralph! I'm going to sign up for the group buy right now.
BTW, the videos really helped me make up my mind. Often they just seem like blatant marketing tools, but these were very helpful. I'm not sure they were available when I tried the demo the first time. They're very well done, IMO, and are really what sold me, along with the promise of an improved GUI.
