Ok, I looked around on the main site, and I browsed the topics in the forums, I am wondering, is there somewhere with a specific installation proceedure listed. I have the deal with all of the drum paks included. I am just wondering if there is a specific order to install in? In the main email there are two .exe files one is jamstix data setup, the other just says jamstix setup. does one get installed before the other, etc....
Any info is appreciated. Thank you. |

First install the plugin (jamstix_setup.exe). After that run the second exe, which installs the stock kits (jamstix_data_setup.exe) and make sure to point it to the same folder you did the first setup.
After that set up Jamstix in your host, activate it and test it out.
After that install the expansion Paks by unzipping them into the 'addons' folder of your Jamstix folder. Now run Jamstix again and it will detect the Paks and prompt you if you want to install them.
Let me know if you need more help. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph,
I needed to move my jamstix samples to another usb 2.0 drive. How do I get Jamstix to now recognize them? The mapping tab shows all the paks (I bought the Jamboree pak - everything), but now they don't load a thing, sample-wise. I HAD to split them up, as I had limited space on my vst drive, but I bought a 500GB external USB 2.0 drive for my samples. Now all samples, including Jamstix, are on my sample drive.
Thanks for your help.

You need to move the whole Jamstix folder to the new drive and just leave the DLLs behind. Next time JS launches it will ask for the new location and that's it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
