I've enabled midi output for Jamstix in Sonar Producer 5.2, but it won't show up in my midi input track list. All of my other midi output plugs show up fine. Any suggestions? I have the latest version of Jamstix.

Please re-run the Sonar VST Configuration Wizard again, making sure that "Re-scan existing plugins" is checked.

Also, if you own DirectiXer, make sure you are not using JS with it instead of the Cake wrapper (this happens to me alot Embarassed)

Ralph,

I've re-scanned 3 or 4 times. Jamstix doesn't show up in my midi input list. I can record the Jamstix midi out using the 'all inputs' option in my midi track's input list, though. That's the main thing i want to do - record midi out. I'm just clueless as to why it won't show up (the midi out option is definitely checked - in JS and Sonar).

Thanks,

Very odd. Just to verify the steps:

- new project
- load Jamstix and check 'MIDI output' when inserting it into the synth rack
- check MIDI input list and JS should be there

I wish I still had S5 somewhere here but I only have S4 and S6 for testing ATM.

I was trying this in an older project and had closed and re-opened Jamstix in there after re-scanning. I couldn't get the JS midi input to show. I started a new project (as you mentioned above) and everything works great!

Thanks!
