Steps:

1 - Install Reaper and Jamstix - most recent version of each.

2 - Start new project

3 - Insert a stereo track (any inputs)

4 - Insert another stereo track, connect Jamstix Demo instrument to it

5 - Start playback in the transport

6 - Go to "Keyword Jam", and double-click a few different keywords to change the patterns

7 - Move cursor to main transport control and press stop (or try to change the BPM or otherwise work in the main window while Jamstix is still open

8 - Freeze up? Music playback continues, UI is non-responsive.

I use Reaper and Jamstix together with no problems.

I frequently have the Jamstix GUI locked open on one monitor and switch between it and the timeline on the other monitor with my mouse to start and stop playback whilst trying out different rhythms or fills etc.

I hardly use Keyword Jam though (mostly manual) jam...

I'm at work at the moment but will try and replicate your steps when I get home late tonight (about 12 hours from now - going out straight after work)

Source found. It has to do with listboxes and their focus and only affects two hosts we know of: REAPER and n-Track. We will have this fixed in the next update. Here's a work-around for now: instead of double-clicking, please drag&drop the items to the key word list and the problem should not occur.
