I have an operational question. What is the main benefit of having Jamstix host the given drum sound module plugin? I'm trying to understand the main benefit. In terms of Sonar, usage, seems like I can just have Jamstix send midi and then have the midi sent to the drum module that is on its own track. From what I can tell that would be the only way to mix jamstix sounds together with the other drum module also. What am I missing? Are there specific advantages to hosting the drum module inside Jamstix or is that mainly a convenience feature for people that don't have a host that is capable of routing the midi to another plugin?

The main reasons are:

- convenience
- hosts that cannot route MIDI VSTi
- MIDI timing problems with VSTi routing (i.e. Cubase)

In Jamstix 2, we also give you the ability to mix&match internal and external sounds and save those as easy-to-recall kits. For example, you can create a kit that uses EZDrummer for drums but with additional Jamstix cymbals and percussion sounds.

I like the sound of that Ralph. I have been using the internal sounds a lot lately, and am really strting to appreciate them.
