Look at your Windows Explorer options under 'Folder Options', 'View' tab and make sure 'Hide extensions for known file types' is NOT checked.

Ralph,
You´re absolutly right,..i did just that and now i can see Jamstix as a stand alone aplication,..actually i prefer it that way...very nice indeed..

You need to set SAVIHost up properly with MIDI and/or audio input devices.

Yes,..but when i do that,when i open its window to set both audio or midi drivers,the Jamstix stand alone aplication stops responding,..freeezzes..i have to cold boot the system,..
it can be an incompatibilty with SAVIhost GUI,..if i know what i´m talking about,..i can mouse click on virtual keyboard but all other links freezzs Jamstix

Very odd.
Try stopping JS first with the 'Run' button in the SAVIHost menu and then try opening the Devices menu to adjust SAVIHost.
