Ralph,is there a way to "create" a dedicated midi channel in
Jamstix, that would makes small changes in the dinamics and "human feel" tempo, from a constant midi input instrument?
Thank you!

..this would be just like what Jamstix does to a input midi drum channel, only it would generate small variances in velocity and duration notes, for another user assignable channel..

You can use MIDI filters in your host to achieve velocity and duration variations on any MIDI stream you' d like.
Jamstix 2 performs timing and velocity modeling in complex ways on its own data and also look-ahead, meaning it can only do it if it knows what will be played in the future so real-time use on incoming MIDI data is not possible.
However, JS2 will allow you to import a full MIDI drum clip into a song part and still run the drummer model with it so the timing and power modeling of the drummer affects the imported performance. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
