Hello,
i really love jamstix. Only for your information. On the Digidesign website a new virtual drum module called "A.I.R Strike" is announced.

Yes, we are aware of 'Strike', which looks like a great plugin.

Unlike 'Strike' and all other virtual drummers, Jamstix does not use canned MIDI clips but creates rhythm structures based on A.I. rules. This will be taken even further in the upcoming Jamstix 2, which has in-depth style and drummer modeling.

That is what i like most at jamstix. And the possibility to choose your own drum library.

I agree. There is never a need for Jamstix to even attempt to compete with any other drum plugin. It's the other way around. There is NO other plugin that sounds so realistic. I've heard people say that their drum software is just as realistic. I asked them how and they said "it has a good humanize feature". LOL, yeah, how original is that, eh? Of course, no humanize feature out there even compares. No logic control or limb control, not dymanic, doesn't respond to other tracks, etc.

Nothing compares. Bar none.

Brent

It would be nice if it was available for Mac however.
