If you have BFD 1.5, you may want to try these new mappings. Just download the file and unzip it into your jamstix\mappings folder. It will give you 3 new mappings:
- BFD 1-5 Stereo.rdm
- BFD 1-5 Groups.rdm
- BFD 1-5 All Outputs.rdm
Compared to the BFD mappings that come with Jamstix, these mappings do the following:
- use the additional kit page of BFD 1.5 to provide 5 toms and 6 cymbals
- fix key mapping issue with crash B and tom 1
- half-open hats now use shank hihat of BFD

Ralph,
Its been a while since I've been here but thanks for a great product and outstanding help to your customers. I use BFD with Jamstix and the hat problem I'm having may be solved by the new mapping. Question for you. Can the hat vary between tip and shank from the program. It would be a good human feel if it varied. Thanks again! |

In Jamstix 2 you could do that manually but it would be a chore. We'll see what we can do about it... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph, just a quick question. Are these mappings included in Jamstix 2.2?
I'm having problems getting Jamstix to work properly with BFD.all. |

Jamstix 2.2 comes with a BFD 1.5 and a BFD2 mapping. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

just a quick clarification: If I have JS2.2 installed then I don't need to install the new mappings for BFD1.5?
Thanks |
