Hi Ralph,
Sorry if this issues has addressed before.
Since updating to the current version (1.81?) I notice if Jamstix plays consecutive bars of a particular pattern the odd snare hit get's completely dropped sporadically, (usually on the 4 it seems). Some crashes at the end of fills are absent also. Confused

Question

That's interesting. Could you send me a FXB file of a situation where that happens and tell me a bar# where it occurs so I can duplicate this here?

I have found the reason for bar 54 in your FXB and this will likely apply to all other points in your song: the cause is improved limb control in 1.81, which detects an unplayable situation in bar 54 with the 16th hihat box checked and a 16th triplet specified in the hihat panel as well in the beat 3 section. It simply says it cannot reach the snare on beat 4 in time.

You can fix it by EITHER unchecking the '16th' box OR replacing the 16th triplet on beat 3 in the HH panel with something else.

In Jamstix 2 we are implementing 'look forward limb control' that can solve such a situation by not playing a complex ride figure when it knows it must reach an important snare shortly after it.
