hi
I'm presuming this is something stupid that I've missed.
Just reinstalled Jamstix (haven't used it for ages).
Select Freejam and set host playing - green light at bottom right corner.
No sound at all.
Tried in FLS6 & Orion Plat 7.
Any suggestions ?
thanks

You probably haven't installed the sounds or installed them to the wrong place. I will send you a new delivery mail so you can start over. Please follow the installation instructions in that new mail as they are a bit different than in older versions. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hm, can I get that link too? I bought it during the group buy... and then my life exploded. The dust has settled and I'm eager to play with my new toy... but I get no sound. If I load up a VSTi into it, I get plenty of sound. |

I've just sent you a new link. Don't un-install anything, just download the sound Paks for the stock kit and the expansion Paks and unzip them into the 'addons' folder of your Jamstix folder as instructed. Jamstix will then detect and install the sounds. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hm, that wasn't it. I think I figured it out though. Instead of having all the folders flapping about in my vst folder, I put them all in a folder called "Jamstix." I did a "repair" and chose my vst folder and then moved the addon, ect folders back out into the vst folder and all of the sudden Jamstix was asking me to install drums. Sparked it up in Live... and woop, there it was.
Anyway, thanks for all the help, but maybe there should be some sort of folder for all the componants to live in during the install process?
Take care,
Mark |
