I installed Jamstix properly...I think. It worked just fine for a while, but now my snare sounds are gone. I have the drumpack file in it's proper place. Any ideas?

Send me your rzdlog.txt file from the Jamstix folder to support[at]rayzoon.com and also tell me what snares are gone. If you just don't hear any snares at all, make sure the velocity slider is NOT all the way left.

For some reason, I don't have that file anywhere in my system. I did check my samples folder to make sure that my snares are in there, and they are. I have tried everything, but no matter how I jam, there are no snare sounds coming through. Any more ideas?

Scan your hard drive(s) for a file called 'rzdlog.txt', it is guaranteed to be there. It's right where 'jamstix.dll' is and, if you used a standard install, it should be in the parent folder of the 'samples' folder you looked at.
