Hi Ralph

Not updated yet on my Main DAW with Cubase4

But I have on my Internet Computer with VST32/5.1, which I just Freejam and play around generally with just a piano VSTi

VST32 loads up a default Cubase arrangement, that I have been using from the early days of Jamstix and I have got used to the way Jamstix behaves in that set up.

1. I first noticed that Jamstix 1.8 was not varying patterns, so I looked at the arrangement window, after a jam, and all activity was on Jam Part2 track only, and although the fills were set for 8 bar intervals, some fills were every 2 bars.

2 I have just had another play, and although Jamstix played through Ok, there was no red box on one of arrangement segments.

After playing a few times, opening and closing windows, starting and stopping cubase, things seem to settle down and work ok.

I am trying to find a pattern to all this, but not succeeded yet.

regards

Thanks, John. Keep me updated with whatever you may find. Also, I recommend you keep a copy of your current jamstix.dll on your main DAW before running the 1.8 updater so you can easily switch between the two versions by just renaming DLLs.
