Not sure if this is a bug or not.

When in the arrangement and working on arrangement. If Jamstix is set to follow host, I can scroll the window correctly past the song position.

I was working in the arrangement page and came up with a verse , bridge, chorus etc. I wanted to move forward and change the rhythm where appropriate further in song. With the host stopped, and jamstix in play mode, scrolling is a bit strange.

This is not a biggy. I can hit pause playback in jamstix and scroll there.

Just wanted to mention it.

Thanks

pardon the typo meant to say

"When in the arrangement and working on arrangement. If Jamstix is set to follow host, I can NOT scroll the window correctly past the song position. "

Thanks

Yes, at the moment Jamstix will not scroll away from the current position if it is synched with the host. One must press STOP in Jamstix to manually scroll. We'll try to make this a bit more intuitive when we get a chance.

Might be the same problem as described above.
Jump to Measure 28 in Cubase and look at the Jamstix arranger again. It should now display Measure 28 and onwards.
Cool

You can also click the stop button in Jamstix and then the arranger will scroll for you. When you hit play again it will of course jump back to wherever Cubase is at that time.

I spent a lot of time pushing 'stop' in my host before I came here and searched for an answer.
Now that I know I have to press 'stop' in "JAMSTIX", it's no problem.
Here's how to make this more 'intuitive':
Instead of the status bar message "Press STOP before manually scrolling the arrangement"....
change it to this: "Press STOP in JamStix before manually scrolling the arrangement".
That would have solved it for me! Wink
