Anyone seen 'The Police' last night at the Grammy's? Watching Mr. Copeland drum perfectly in his personal, unique style was an immense pleasure for me. He's given more new impulses to modern drumming than most people realize...

I watched it and figured they should've stayed apart. The Police is one of those bands I just got tired of. I was hoping/expecting more last night but that wasn't to be.

Overall it was kind of a boring show and I found myself channel surfing earlier than usual however I was glad to see the Dixie Chicks win as well as John Mayer (even though he has to get away from pop crap and do more of his blues trio stuff).

His concert DVD is a definite treat. Regardless if one likes his songs, his technique is extraordinary.
