I put together a song that follows a typical format for most of the song which works fine with the "8" selection and start bar 1 instead of 0 (I have a lead in. All is well until a bridge part which breaks up the 8,8,8...pattern of fills. Then my fills get off base for the rest of the song. I try to reset the bars that shouldn't be fills and put fills in the other, but that just creates two fill parts. I'm using manual jam and then loading rythyms to put in the arranger. What am I missing, or is this fill procedure fixed and unchangeable?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi

Once you are happy with you jamstix drum pattern, and the position of your fills, you then need to move the fill slider back to "0".

Alternatively to what studio64 said, you can also use the Start Bar box in the arranger tab to set the bar from which you want Jamstix to start counting and placing the fills.

Ralph, are you saying thaty if the bridge/chorus does not fit with the 8,8,8 or whatever pattern you have for the verses you can reset the start bar as required and then generate the fills on a second pass? I've always given up and done all the fills manually.

Yes, that should work.
