:?: Hello, This is my first post here, hope you can help. I have downloaded the trial version of jamstix to my PC (running XP). I ran the intallation file succesfully, but when I go to the program list on my PC it shows only the name 'Rayzoon' wich when clicked only shows two PDF files (Manuals). So I went to the program folder and found steinberg/vstplugins/jamstixdemo and all of the .dll's and sample files but no .exe file to run the program! Is there a problem with the trial demo download or am I doing something wrong in the download process? This looks like a great program and I'd love to get started using it asap!!!
Thanks Rich |

Jamstix is a VSTi plugin, which means it needs a host to run in, such as Cubase, Sonar, Tracktion, Live, FL Studio and many others.
If you do not have a VST host, google the free MiniHost or SAVIHost to get you going. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Guess that was a dumb question..heh. Thanks for the quick response. I've been using Sonar 4 in the most basic way, just guitar and vocal, no need for MIDI or VSTi's. BUT NOW! my eyes have been opened! time to expand. I've Succesfully installed Jamstix into Sonar and it is soo cool! Still have alot to learn re: MIDI and routing and such, MUST READ and RE-READ THE MANUALS. Looking forward to posting my first attemps at incorporating Jamstix into my songs. THANKS again for your help.
