Hi
I'm currently moving from Tracktion to Reaper. One easy way to get the Jamstix arrangement for a song over I thought would be to save it as an fxb in Tracktion and open it in a Jamstix instance in Reaper. However, when I try this nothing happens in Reaper.
It works fine in Tracktion, that is, open the fxb will open the arrangement in Tracktion.
This is not extremely important for me, but a little more convenient. I actually plan to review the drum tracks in all my songs and if I am happy with the drums in a song I can always export the arrangement to MIDI, if I'm not I will redo the drums directly in Reaper anyway.
But still, I need to move a lot of other audio/MIDI files over so it could save me some time. |

It works fine for me here with REAPER 1.66. What is your version and what exactly is not happening in REAPER. Does the arrangement change, do the rhythms change, does the mapping change? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Sorry, should have some more testing. It does work with Reaper 1.63 here on my DAW PC at home(could not access the Reaper website to download the latest version.)
The earlier test was done on my work computer, which is not really set up for audio processing but now and then I like to stay after work hours and do some editing.
My Tracktion copy on that computer has not been unlocked, since I've already have two other installations. I know other export functions are not enabled in demo mode, but it did open the saved arrangement, unlike Reaper.
Well, it seems to be working now and it sure will save me some time.
(I really must learn to finish projects. I had a bunch of Sonar/Cakewalk projects that I migrated to Tracktion a few years back and now I carrying them over to Reaper...hrm)
Thanks for your help
