Open arrangement and play not working in 1871, works in 1.71.

Export to midi file not working in 1871 or 1.71.

Also - I can't get 1.71 to enumerate in Reaper (doesn't appear on VSTi list after scan) or open in Samp 8.31 (Samp gives error msg "unable to create JamStix...). Opens in Samp 9.01 but has issues listed above.

[edit] well, I tried un-installing JS and removing all references to JamStix and Rayzoon in the registry since when I tried an update it errored (and I'm guessing/hoping that's what's behind the problems I'm having). But now I have nothing to reinstall since all I have are the updates... Can you email me a link to the full installer?

Hi Sekim,
Check your mail for the installer, which will get you to 1.71. Once its up and running again, try just the 1871 DLL and let me know what issues are left.

Thanks for the link!

Here's what I found: 1871 now enumerates in Reaper, but I couldn't get JS to advance cursor in arranger upon play (but I only use Reaper for occasional testing so maybe I'm not doing something right...)

1871 opens in Samp 8.31 and behaves the same as in Samp 9.01 which is to say:

1871 will load an arrangement and will play it using native JS samples, but only sporadic sounds using DFHS. I used my old midi router plug to record the output from JS via MidiOx and it looks like 'note off' commands are only sporadically issued, which explains why the midi file looks the way it does in the editor and the sporadic sounds out of DFHS.

Unfortunately I can't duplicate this problem.

That's wild. I'll check this out and get back to you...

Just released Beta 1875.

Sekim: this beta fixes the DFHS sound problem.

cctaylor: the 'child windows cannot have menus' error does not occur for us with this Build anymore.

Just released Beta 1878. This is a full package updater that also includes the new 'Addictive Drums' and 'EZDrummer' mappings.

Biggest change in this Beta is that the internal sounds are now loaded multi-threaded so they no longer block the audio thread or the GUI.

Laughing Thank you so much, Zauni. Now almost everything works under Vista for me.

Cheers,
