When I free jam, it seems like the high hats play way too much, almost to the point of being obnoxious. They sound like a metronome and don't very their speed or rythm much at all. No matter what I set or vary they are always too over powering. Any tips on getting them to hit a lot less. I have had to go in and delete 70% of the notes to get them to sound realistic most of the time.

Several things you can do:
- Set Hat Style in the jam tab to 'Conservative'.
- if you use high funkiness/complexity levels, try unlocking the funkiness in the style panel and then setting the hihat funkiness and complexity both to minimal.
Other things to do:
- If the 'Sixteenths' box in the rhythm tab hihat panel is checked for a rhythm, uncheck it.
- move the 'Variance' slider in the rhythm tab hihat panel further right to increase velocity variance _________________ Ralph Zeuner
