Hi, I have recently purchased the jamboree pack and want to back convert the 4 or 5 songs I did with the demo and move on to new material asap (fill in the gaps and maintain the same sounds etc). Is there an easy way to do this? I look forward to utilising the program to it's full extent during future compositions. If there is a thread where this is already covered could somebody please direct me to it?

Thanks....M.B.

The easiest way is to save the Jamstix demo state in each song to a FXB using 'Save Bank' in the host. The FXB file will then hold all the Jamstix data of the project. You can then load an FXB into a full version Jamstix using 'Load Bank' in the host.

In my excitement I unfortunately I had to uninstall the demo to load the full, have I lost what I need? The arrangements are still there in "jsa" files.

JSA files will give you the arrangement and the rhythms but the mixer and mapping settings are not stored in them. This may or may not be an issue depending on whether you changed those in your project(s).

They are "well" changed, I really got into the finer details of the program and left no knob untweaked. Not a problem, the new arrangements will hopefully be better - I may even wait until JS2 before I proceed further.

Just as a heads-up: Jamstix 1 FXBs will NOT load into Jamstix 2 because JS2 is completely different from JS1. However, JS2 will allow you to load JS1 rhythms.
