I used the drum pak 1 for my metal tune and I think it sounds great. It was the rock #3 set of samples. It's kind of a Poison/Priest type of sound I was after. If it sounds good...it is good. HH

I am not sure how to "post" it. Don't you need a server that's on all the time to do that? If you give me an Email address I will send it to you or if you can tell me how to post it I will. It's 4 megs (128k mp3) and my first Jamstix attempt so it's kinda rough but the soul of what I was aiming for is there. HH

OK. I am at work on break right now but the network here is restricting access to that site. I will send it this evening. It is complete except for the vocals (I am actually a bass player when I play out) done on my Cubase home studio. Thanks for the help. HH

OK...after quite a while I finally figured out this yousendit thing. Thanks Ibanezlover for the help. My official first attempt at Jamstix is a song called Going Down (I used the whammy bar a bit). It still needs vocal and a few fillers and a 128K MP3 just doesn't do it much justice but you'll get the picture so Enjoy! HH http://download.yousendit.com/CBDAA31953803BC1

Hey HH, good job on the tune dude. The geetar playing was great and the drums sounded good. Just gotta work on the mix now. The geetars were too far behind the drums to me. Keep up the good work dude.

Thanks for your input. I didn't realize until after I sent it that I had my guitar recording channel on mono instead of stereo (can you say...brain fart?). I am self concious over my guitar playing skills so that's probably why I buried it in the background. This forum has the nicest people I have ever encountered on the net. Maybe because we're all on the same wavelength. HH

Wow...I'm floored...guitarchaos is rightous! Thanks! We have the same tastes (judging by your backing tracks). You may have noticed I'm a Sabbath fan also because the notes I play in the main structure of the song I posted are from the devils triad - the same notes used in Black Sabbath's song Black Sabbath. And I recorded it on Christmas Day. God has a sense of humor right? HH
