Hey Ralph,
I'm sorry to be a pain, here's what's happened so far.
I uninstalled SL3 via the uninstall option on START - PROGRAMS etc and it went through the wizard. I reinstalled JS and when I opened CB Studio 4 it wasn't available in the VST options. When I loaded it the default was Steinberg/VST plugns so I went with that but it created a new folder under Steinberg called.......vst plugins.
So....popped into Windows Explorer and low and behold under Steinberg I have SL3 (still) Studio 4 & VST plugins. I copied the JS .dll file from VST plugins to the Studio 4 sub-folder also called VST plugins and hey presto JS was recognised in Studio 4 and loaded fine but.....no sound.
You can probably tell I'l more of a songwriter than a PC buff so I'm a little lost now. I don't feel comfortable delting the SL3 folder from within Windows Explorer but it does not now appear in the Add/Remove programs list.
One final thing the Rayzoon listing under the START - PROGRAM list only gives me the JS pdfs, should I be able to launch JS from here?
Once again thanks for all your time and trouble, your support is second to none.
Take care Terry |

You should have installed JS into the Cubase 4 plugins folder. It may be best for you to uninstall JS again and then install it into that folder. Also don't forget to run jamstix_data_setup.exe to install the kits so you have sound.
Let me know if you have any further trouble. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
