|

Hi,
2 questions from a newbie but already a real jamstix fan:
1. Is it possible to make a kind of preselection for a rhytm in freejam mode via the rhythm tab? To me it seems very much like jamstix is always going to start with the same drum-groove.
2. I there a way to have something like a "count in" with the sticks in freejam? It usually starts right away with real drumming.
Thanx
Stephan
PS, Variations work great. |

The free jam groove is determined by the settings in the jam tab. Change them (for example: funkiness and complexity) and the groove will change.
You can also use key word jam to have Jamstix use specific library rhythms.

Look at the 'Jam Start/Stop' area in the jam tab. If you are using MIDI input with Jamstix, select a key of your choice and then check the box next to it. Jamstix will now wait for that key before starting the jam and it will start with a intro.
In audio jam mode, Jamstix will wait for sufficient input volume level before starting the jam. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks a lot. So I will give keyword jam a try. I didn't use it because I already had such a lot of fun with free jam mode.
