hi, i am trying to get jamstix to run in Virtual Mixing Console (a VST host from Spin Audio) but what happens is either jamstix will not play at all, or VMC freezes, ( or alternatively the system freezes!!!) does anyone have any suggestions? (be nice!!!) the audio/ASIO is thru Yamaha mLan..
thanks
dennis

Jamstix demands more from a VST host than most plugins because it needs song position pointer information. Some hosts do not suffice. I suggest you try MiniHost or SAVIHost. If they work with Jamstix on your system but VMC does not then the problem is VMC. Let me know how it goes.

yep, they work really well, so the problem lies with Spin Audio, maybe its drivers are'nt up to the task of running this as well as audio...i can also run it using sonar, but i wanted a much simpler interface for using JS live....so thanks very much ralph for the advice and links!!!!
cheers
