i just updated, but i still get a hugh jump in latency on my guitar when i open jamstix in reaper...it's impossible to play along.

Ouch! Sad is it because of jamstix?? I've yet to try playing with the update in traktion though I suspect all will be ok. I hope you get this sorted out!!

Jamstix does not introduce any latency on its own. Can you send me the Reaper project file to zauni[at]earthlink.net?

yeah and some at reaper forum say they don't have any problems so i guess it's something in the way i have reaper setup with jamstix or...hell i don't know what i'm talking about so...sending file

I tested the file here playing along with a bass. No problems. Please try a different ASIO driver to isolate the cause (i.e. www.asio4all.com).

i'm currently using asio4all. i guess it's something else in my reaper setup. thx for checking!
