i have still to install everything but... is it possible to install the samples packages (drumpak1,2,snarepak...) in a different drive/directory with respect to the jamstix dll?? if so, how?

i have a dedicated drive for samples and a dedicated drive for winXP/programs in order to make simple backups of the operating system...

if it is not possible, will be implemented in future releases? i think it's an important matter...

You can do this but you must move the entire Jamstix folder to the new location, leaving only the DLLs behind.

Next time Jamstix launches, it will ask you where the new data location is and that's it.

I have a similar layout on my harddisk (separate partition with sounds) for backup reasons to backup only projects and recorded wavs, not installed ones.

So, would it be possible, in a later release, to set the directory of the drum and sounds when installing and/or later in Jamstix itself (settngs) ?

You can move the data location and JS will ask you for it the next time it loads. Wouldn't that be sufficient?
