Hi guys,
I'm dabbling here to purchase the EZDrummer (save time on mixing drum sound). I'm happy that Jamstix and BFD are working very well together, but I've no real info that it does work for EZDrummer.
Has anyone actually try getting EZDrummer to work with Jamstix? |

I'm happy enough with jamstix and don't have the time to learn how to use another application!
May look into getting BFD for heavier sounds, though.. Those are just samples, are they not?
EZDrummer... I hear a lot of praise for it.. but can it jam along? And does it have an intelligent drummer type drum sounds? Jamstix is great since it doesn't require too much messing around if you don't want, but does allow you LOADS of flexibility. Good for guitarists like myself who just want to make music (!) AND for drum enthsiasts! |

BFD is really more than samples. It's a VSTi as well. Jamstix can trigger the BFD samples.
EZDrummer is similar with BFD....but only thing thier sound is more processed. It could be something more sutiable for you if you don't like to put heavy processing unto the BFD raw samples.
EZdrummer has go no intelligent drummer like JAmstiz. All it has is just a bunch of MIDI library for you to drag and drop. BFD too has that drag drop feature and also allows it to be triggered external MIDI like electric drums.
Whether Jamstix works with triggering EZDrummer samples....is something I wanna know as well. I think the potential is there as I heard EZDrummer MIDI is a subset of DFHS MIDI (same vendor as EZDrummer). |

We are not aware of any issues when using Jamstix with EZD. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I think so, yes. Jamstix can drive DFHS, so it would be a total surprise if EZD was that different. |
