Hi,

I've got the velocity automation working now and the Velocity slider moves in response to the velocity envelopes I draw in n-Track.

If I have the envelope all the way down the slider is all the way down and if I have the envelope all the way up the sliderin Jamstix is at max as well.

Only problem is Power play never seems to be activated....

I tried the Power sensitivity slider in Jamstix at various positions (all the way up, down and in the middle and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Hope I explained that clearly...

Thanks,
Rich

Jamstix currently detects PowerPlay only on received notes. Looks as if we need an automation for PowerPlay itself.

I'll put that on the list.

Probably doesn't need a separate automation... just if the velocity envelope gets above a certain value or something like that...

For the time being I've gone back to using a sine wav and drawing velocity envelopes for that and setting Jamstix to Jam with audio.
Once the amount of sine wav I send to Jamstix gets above a certain level Power play kicks in

thanks,
Rich.

Power mode should be triggered in the same way regardless of if velocity is automated or not IMHO. Having an extra automation parameter would only make things more complicated.

Too late, already implemented Smile

It actually gives you more control and MIDI automation is all about control.
