with Jamstix 1.7 running in Samplitude 9 by itself (freejam) on it's own track is working great (using a simple MIDI sequence to start), however, when maping the output to dfhSuperiior, it only runs for about 20 seconds and then the sound stops, but playback continues.
Closing dfhSuperior and attempting to switch back to Jamstix sounds causes Samplitude 9 to basically freeze up. No activity. After it 'resolves iself', playback can continue, but there are no sounds from Jamstix - just playback (graphic activity) only. dfhSuperior basically freezes and then I am forced to ctrl/alt/del my way out of Samplitude.
I've done this consistently 4 times now. Pretty definite bug of some sort - perhaps related to Samplitude 9's new (my opinion) driver instability.
MIDI sequenced tracks triggering Jamstix in freejam mode goes great for a while, but then the audio dies again. I'm still testing this.
Other tests with MIDI tracks triggering dfhSuperior prove to be stable.
I will continue doing more tests. _________________ Samplitude Pro 11.03 (or latest beta)
