| Using JS 1.7 with DFHS in Samplitude Pro V9...I set up a project as a Keyword jam and alter hat settings and save project. When I reopen project all setting like complexity, funkiness, etc are present, but the keywords and hat changes are missing. I've been away from this stuff for a year and just now getting back into it so not sure if this is a "stupid user" question or bug report? |

The keywords not saving is normal in Jamstix 1.7 but the hat changes should persist. Could you tell me what exact hat functions are not recalled?
By the way, welcome back! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

The parm I changed was the hats 1/16th. Apparently what was happening is that it's still there, but when I re-add the keywords it gets reset.
So does a keyword actually create an arrangement upon playback and the arrangement is what gets saved when saving the host project? |

Yes, when you select keywords, Jamstix loads corresponding rhythms into the slots, overwriting your manual settings. When you save and reload the project, only the arrangement (the result of the key words) is recalled and any manual changes persist as long as you don't load key words again. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

OK, thanks!
I'd forgotten just how good JS sounds with DFHS and how easy it is to dial in something tasty. Wifey and baby are off visiting relatives this weekend so I'm trying to knock enough rust off to lay a few tracks! |
