Since Jamstix is the only piece of software I miss since upgrading to a proper computer ( ) and it doesnt look like an OSX version will be appearing any time soon...
has anyone figured a bulletproof way of bootcamping jamstix into logic/ anything else, that doesn't require a degree in geekery?
otherwise, i was thinking of starting a camp outside ralph's place if anyone is up for that! |

Got my sleeping bag and my flask ready m8, where shall we hook up?
Would love to see a Mac version, although I know Ralph is busy with J.2 and J.bass. I hope we eventually see one.

We have a roadmap that eventually will lead to a transition from our current development environment, Delphi (PC-Only) to C++. This will allow us to build a OSX version as well as support 64-bit DAWs once they start to take off. Jamstix 2 and JB will still be PC-only but after that we hope to transition over.
So please don't camp here.... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

by coincidence i posted a related message here just today:

in a word, it works great under parallel (i presume bootcamp would be even better since it would have complete control but haven't bothered trying, since i'm looking at running jamstix at the same time as my mac software which is what parallel allows you to do) |
