I get the following error when I try to load the Drumkit From Hell Superior VST (drummer.dll) into Jamstix:

"Cannot load module because it requires at least 7 outputs....."

I can load the cocktail set, since that uses fewer than 7 outputs.

Actually, I get this error when I try to load ANY external VST into Jamstix that is configured to use more than 7 outputs. For example, I can load BFD Stereo - but not BFD All.

How do I work around this? Has anyone else on here been able to get DFHS kits (other than cocktail) to work within Jamstix on Cubase SX?

Hi CADEBRYANT.

Although I don't use DKFH, could it be on the mapping page where you can increase outputs?

regards

Yes, in the output tab you have to tell JS to provide at least as many outputs as you need with your external device (e.g. DFHS).

You also need to relaunch Jamstix whenever you change the # of outputs for it to take effect.

I don't see an option for "adding outputs" on the outputs page. Where is it? How do I add more outputs?

Never mind. I see it now. It's on the Mapping tab, not the Outputs tab.
