Hi
I've been trying to automate the velocity of Jamstix playing BFD in Cubase SX3 to get more of an oomph in the chorus compared to the verses etc.
I have Jamstix as an input to a midi track with BFD as an output.
I have messed around with a velocity automation track with this Midi track and also with another one with Jamstix as the output.
What is the correct way to automate Jamstix's velocity slider?
Thanks a lot.
PS
I don't know if you got to read my solution to the Jamstix playing out of sync at high latencies in Cubase SX3. The solution is to always have Jamstix BEFORE the drum module you are controlling in the VST Instrument rack, otherwise at high latencies (at all latencies actually, it's only noticable at high ones) the two are processed during different buffer cycles.

The correct way (and only possible way AFAIK) is to automate on the Jamstix instrument track.
