|

Well I bought jamstix 1.7 (jamboree bundle) and I really like it. But I have a few questions about audiom8 vst.
I know it measures the changes in volume, but what about changes in speed? For example, suppose I play twice as fast on my guitar will jamsitx speed up the tempo or no? It seems to me that it does not do this, but that would be a great feature in version 2.0 (if possible). I guess for now the tempo is locked to the host (for example sonar 4), right? It would also be great if somehow audiom8 could realize that you are sustaining a chord and do a fill. Is this possible or would it require too much cpu?
Thanks for creating a fun program,

The VST spec doesn't allow a plugin to control the host tempo so Jamstix must stay slaved to the host.
In the future we may be able to detect more play conditions with audioM8 than just volume but it will require more CPU power than the mainstream machines can offer a single plugin today. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the fast response! Your program is very addictive... I think I played for an hour and could not make myself stop... |

| Is the new VST 3.0 engine going to help in this respect? |

AFAIK not. VST3 mainly helps with things like flexible I/O routing. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
