Ralph,
What is the build number on this final? I downloaded the latest yesterday at 3 in the afternoon (thinking I was grabbing the RC) and the archive from yesterday is identical in size to what I downloaded just a few moments ago. My build is 1850 I believe.
Cheers! |

Just downloaded and installed the new update but it shows 1850 not 1851(IIRC). It says "Release 1.7". I tried the download several times by deleting the file and cleaning out IE temp files but still get same 1850.
No biggy....Just thought you should know! _________________ Marcus2323

Yep - that's what I got on Saturday. And this was a first time install to a brand new XP install. Clearly shows 1850.
Ralph - what time/day did you post this "final" to be downloaded. I am in Calgary and pulled my copy down around 2:30pm on Saturday aft. Like I mentioned earlier - the archive from Sat and the one I downloaded last night are identical in everyway.
Cheers! |

I installed 1.7 last night and WOW! The programme runs faster and boy, do I love the keyboard mode. I had been having some problems which I traced to over-loading my CPU. The new build seems to have reduced the CPU needed and this has allowed me to relax completely and really have fun.
Ralph, with your philosophy of musicality, value and support - If you build it I will buy! I'm really glad I hopped on the Jamstix bandwagon last year.
If anyone is still deciding over buying Jamstix, then just consider how valuable this great support is. All music software has it's nooks and crannies and with the complicated range of possible machines out there nothing is guaranteed to work 100% for everybody. I know, I work for a software company. Rayzoon are the most responsive company and have the best and fastest support of any software company (music or otherwise) I have ever come across. You may think you will never need support but when you do, you usually really do. With my experience of Jamstix every stupid question I have asked has been answered, I have been treated with kid gloves even when the fault has been mine and the programme just keeps getting better. The only area I have used that even comes close to the community feel on the Jamstix forums is the Garritan Personal Orchestra forum and they are considered the best in the business - in my opinion they have now been bested (sorry Gary).
Go on, you know you want to! If you need drums buy this product and you can be confident you will be helped to get the absolute best from your creativity.
Gush over.
Thanks once more, Ralph. Keep up the good work.
PS I use Cubase SX, NI Komplete 3 + Kore + soundline, Wavelab 6, Melodyne, Har-bal, Reason, KORG Legacy etc etc so I have had plenty of experience with dealing with MI companies. _________________ John Zed

We do still have a new beta running so we will probably have another 1.x update. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
