Here's the current Jamstix beta. Use at your own risk. Any feedback is greatly appreciated as it helps us shake out the bugs!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE JAMSTIX 1.7 INSTALLED. RENAME YOUR CURRENT JAMSTIX.DLL FOR EASY REVERSAL AND THEN PLACE THE DLL IN THIS ARCHIVE IN ITS PLACE.

Download Beta 1856 (Use ID and password that came with your Jamstix delivery)

    Beta #1856
  • fixed problem with output routing resetting to one output for a sound group when reloading a saved project with multiple outputs used within a sound group
  • fixed problem with MIDI output recording in REAPER

    Beta #1854
  • modified interpolation to reduce CPU usage, especially in projects with higher samplerates
  • Jamstix now saves the data received from the host during loading immediately to disk as 'last_arrangement.dat' in the Jamstix folder. This file can be loaded manually via 'Load Arrangement' under the disk icon of the arranger. The function is useful to recover an arrangement from an unloadable/partially corrupted host project file
  • added new ini option 'DefaultFillHatMode' to control how Jamstix handles hats in fills:

    • DefaultFillHatMode=0 - Jamstix randomly assigns a hat mode to each fill (default)
    • DefaultFillHatMode=1 - HiHats are off during the fill
    • DefaultFillHatMode=2 - HiHats switch to half-open during the fill
    • DefaultFillHatMode=3 - HiHats continue to play as the rhythm states during the fill

  • fixed changing funkiness or complexity sliders while looping in audio free jam not having any effect

Hi, Ralph..

Nuendo seems to crash after Jamstix try's to use an external Drum Sampler? DFHS/eZdrummer

Drum Vst's work fine until Jamstix try's to controll them..

Tried to revert to 1.7 but still does it now..

Nuendo 3.2..

Thanks

I'll need more info. Is DFHS loaded inside of JS or inside of Nuendo. If the latter, how do you route JS to Nuendo? Also, please describe the crash in detail and send me rzdlog.txt from your Jamstix folder to support[at]rayzoon.com.

DFHS can either be in or outside of Jamstix and still happens..

I get the (a serious problem has occurred) and then just locks up!

Like I said using these Samplers and many many plugins and all good until Jamstix comes into play.

I will send the rzlog.txt.....Thanks

Just add it yourself anywhere in the [General] section.
