Hi there. I am using the combination in the title. BFD is installed as a vst and loaded into JS. I am now ready to bounce 14 tracks in BFD all mode. However, I am getting silence on most tracks. Can someone help me?

Most likely that's because Sonar doesn't bounce when it doesn't see MIDI events. Put a dummy MIDI note or controller event in the MIDI track of Jamstix at the start of the song and another one at the end of the song and it should work.

I should say that sounds are missing on simple playback and not only when I bounce. When I am simply palying back, I cycle through the 14 channels. The overheads and PZM work. Also, one bass drum , snare and hi hat works. Everything else is silent. I will try your suggestion tonight.

I am having the most impossible time getting BFD and JS to work together. I am all confused and tied up in knots and have no idea what I am doing wrong. Here is my set up and what I am doing.

- I have a midi piano track that is triggering JS.
- I have created an arrangement in JS that plays fine with the internal sounds.
- I have loaded BFD All.dll as external sound source.
- in mapping tab have also loaded bfd.all

My goal is to eventually end up with 14 separate audio tracks for mixing purposes. Problem is with current set up mapping sounds wrong. Snare dooes not play and somehow one of the cymbals is replaced by a floor tom.

I have also tried to export a file to midi but some of the cymbals are messed up.

I need to start fresh with this. Can someone post a step by step on how to get Jamstix and BFD to create individual audio tracks.

Thanks

Let's clarify this point. Please do this for testing:

1) load mapping 'BFD Set 1'. Does it sound okay?
2) now load mapping 'BFD All'. Does it sound okay?

Also, please send me the file rzdlog.txt from your Jamstix folder to support[at]rayzoon.com, referencing this thread.
