Hi. Me again. Maybe I'm just slowminded but it seems that when I check the "hihat on snares" or the "hihat on tom 5" boxes Jamstix starts hitting the hats nearly every beat; when I uncheck those the hi-hats almost vanish. I never notice the hi-hat hits being transferred to the snare or to tom 5.

This is Sonar LE (same as 4) with the VST adapter.

Any thoughts.

Most likely what you are hearing are hihat foot notes, which are generated when HH On Snare or HH On Tom is active. Go to the mapping tab, select 'HiHat Foot' and turn the volume to zero. Are the sounds gone now?
