|
|
Have to let you know I am a newbee.
When I select a rhythm to play and then setup the arranger the playback does not begin at the first bar, but rather continues from where ever it may have left off. For example I arrange Bars 1 throu 12 and place an ending on bar 12. When I play I will hear nothing since it starts playing at bar (100 or some random bar left off from a previous session?).
How do I get it to start an arrangement at Bar 1? And yes I have selected Bar 1 as the start.
Thanks

Good Question,
I am using the SAVIhost V1.27 with the Jamstix demo. Like I said this is very new for me.

No problem, Dan, we're here to help with any question or issue.
The thing with SAVIHost is that it sends specific song position info to Jamstix but does not offer any transport controls to change that position. When SAVIHosts starts it begins playing at bar 1 and keeps on going up no matter what. The only thing you can do is click twice on the BPM display in SAVIHost to rewind SAVIHost back to bar 1.
If you need more control over the song position then I recommend using a different host, such as MiniHost where you can control the song position in Jamstix directly. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

that appears to be the fix, thanks much for the good feedback.
BTW, I came over to this application from Power Tracks Pro, the PG Music forum. I see that a few folks are trying to work out some compatibility issues. I look forward to working with jamstix more in the future.
Thanks Again
Dan
