|
|
| I'm new to Jamstix and downloaded version 1.6, which is great - however, I've just installed the 1.7 update and when I try to load it in Cubase SX, it causes my computer to crash. It gets as far as loading a few sounds and then the computer switches off. Any suggestions? |

Your computer actually powers down??
Please send me the rzdlog.txt file from your Jamstix folder to support[at]rayzoon.com so we can take a look. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Yes, it does - I tried System Restore to go back to version 1.6 and (apart from saying that my licence key was invalid) loaded without crashing. I'll send the file. |

Please save a copy of your current jamstix.dll, which is version 1.6 or so. You can now update to 1.7 again and then, if you encounter issues, you can easily switch back to 1.6 by just renaming the DLLs. No need to use System Restore or anything else.
But hold off with 1.7 until I have reviewed your log file. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Thanks Ralph! Re-installation with a clean dll seems to have solved the problem. Another very satisfied customer! |
