Hi. Using version 1.61 of Jamstix in Sonar LE (essentially Sonar 4). Record some stuff using FM7 with audiom8 routing audio to Jamstix. Get the 'stix settings like I want them. End up with some very nice Tom grooves. Probably will tweek a little, but am very happy with the arrangement. Switch to using the arrangement. Play the tune. The toms are gone. Jamstix is now using a busy snare instead. Any thoughts?

Could you send me an FXB of Jamstix playing the toms? Use 'Save Bank' in the wrapper menu for Jamstix in Sonar to save this file.

There is one caveat in switching from free jam to manual jam: the following functions do not apply in manual jam since they are play filters that are only active during free jamming and not part of the rhythm tab functions:

- HiHat On Snare
- HiHat On Tom 5
- Snare/Tom 3 Slider

So if you used any of these it would explain why you hear some toms only in free jam mode. Jamstix 1.7 'keeps' free jams better than older versions so you may be able to do your editing without going to manual jam. It depends on what you need to get done. Another option is exporting to MID file in free jam and then edit in Sonar.

Thanks, Ralph. Switching to "use arrangement" without changing from Free Jam to Manual Jam got me what I was after. I thought I HAD to change to manual to use the arrangement.
