Hi, I've done a search here on the forum for "6/8", and I've discovered that jamstix isn't really geared up for that signature...
So I was wondering does anyone know where I could download some 6/8 MIDI files (either free or commercial)?
I do a lot of acoustic music which tends to have that Damien Rice feel
Thanks,
Richard |

I can't help with the MIDI files but at least I can promise you that Jamstix 2 will cover that territory MUCH better... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph.
I just would like some simple 6/8 midi drum files to use with jamstix.
It's nothing personal!!!! |

As a bluesrocker myself I can tell you it is possible to have JS play some fairly decent 6/8 rythms. It's mostly the hh-patterns that will give you trouble. At the moment I only use 6/8 for some basic slowblues-tracks to teach my students.
Good to know JS2 will improve on this.
Can I pre-order already? |
