I am running Jamstix via SAVIHost while learning Jamstix. In JamMode, I end up maxing out the Arrangment bars (1000). Jamstix stops playing at that point. I then tried (in the Arrangement tab) selecting 'Clear All', 'Delete', and then rewinding the Transport back to Bar-1. If I start JamMode again, it goes back to bar-1000 which is beyond the maximum and won't play.
I can restart the SAVIHost to clear, but it seems I am not doing something right in being able to clear and reset the Arrangement without restarting. Any ideas?
Thanks. |

I'll look into the 'Clear All' issue on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The rewind issue is solely due to SAVIHost having a song position pointer but no transport controls other than clicking on the BPM to reste to bar 1. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

After reading your reply, there might not be any problem regarding "Clear All". My main point was that I couldn't restart from bar-1 to create a totally new 'Jam Mode' Arrangement. As you indicated, this is probably due to SAVIHost having a song position pointer that is overriding the reset of song position via Jamstix Transport controls. |

Okay, let me know if you have any residual issues.
The bar reset work-around for SAVIHost is to click on the BPM display in SAVIHost. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
