Just posted Beta 6. This beta also allows automatic fills in manual jam mode as has been requested repeatedly. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Just posted Beta 7. Most important change is a new host synch logic that is tighter than before but doesn't support time signature changes. There is a new option in the OUTPUT tab to switch back to the old mode if time sig changes are used.
The new mode helps especially with synching when loops are used in the host. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

The box shown when loading sounds is just an empty white box. In the non-beta version, some status info was shown about the sounds loading.
Not exactly a showstopper but a bit annoying.
Btw. I'm using Acid 6 and EnergyXT.

The box seems fine here under SX3. However at first, only play/pause on the transport are working properly.
Thanks,

Just posted Beta 9, wich improves the 'Suppress fill before beat 3' and 'Suppress fill before beat 4' options.
It also adds a new option called 'Simplify by suppressing 16th notes'.
The next Beta will also add automation support for all fill options so you can change the behavior across a song as needed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Just downloaded Beta 9 and noticed that when hitting the transport buttons with in Jamstix while using it with SaviHost doesn't work right. The arrangemnt always goes forward. It won't go back to the begining. If I click on a bar in the arranger that is a different bar than the arranger is on it still jumps forward. IE: if it's at 10 and I click on 7 it might jump to 13 or 14.
Clicking on the tempo button still has it start from bar 1.
Very odd! _________________ Marcus2323

SAVIHost has an absolute position counter that ALWAYS goes up. The only way to affect it that I know of is the click on the BPM to get it back to 1. In other words, the problem is that SAVIHost doesn't have a proper transport control function.
The only issue I see is that with the Jamstix transport stopped, you should be able to click on a bar in JS and go there but it currently doesn't work, only the arrow buttons work. I'll look into that... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I don't know if you misunderstood but I was using Jamstix transport not the one in SaviHost.
Hope this helps! _________________ Marcus2323

Maybe we are misunderstanding each other.
When using Jamstix 1.61 in SAVIHost, one can only change the current bar by stopping Jamstix and then using the arrow buttons but not clicking on the desired bar in the arranger. This is the same with Beta 9 for me.
When the Jamstix transport is not stopped then the host has ALL control over the current bar. This is true for any Jamstix version.
So the only limitation in Jamstix that I can see is that clicking on the arranger bars doesn't work when JS is stopped. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
