|

Hi there,
I recorded in Cubase the midi notes Jamstix played of a jazz rhythm using a brush kit and swing character. But after playback of this midi track again with Jamstix there were no brushes to be heard, only the other drums. If I don't use this midi track but let Jamstix play the rhythm by itself the brushes are there.
Did I miss a setting?

The brushes are dealt with a bit different than normal sounds. We'll take a look at this. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I can't duplicate the problem. Please save the state of Jamstix to a FXB using 'Save Bank' in Cubase and send it to support[at]rayzoon.com referencing this thread. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

My mistake again, I now saw that in my custom mappings there was no key assigned to Brushing/Brush Muted/Rimshot. Sorry for the post.
I must have been building my custom kit using a standard kit, maybe even the BRUSH stick kit, I can't remember now. And as some of these kits don't have a key assigned for these 3 sounds it is very easy to overlook this. Especially when you can hear the sounds within Jamstix.
The brush section seems to be a bit error prone, at least for me as I have made 2 mistakes with it. I think it is really cool to have, don't get me wrong on this and have already used it in a few songs. Maybe there are ways to prevent these mistakes in the future.
Thanks again for the support |
